Frequently asked questions
Previve is designed for proactive individuals who want the most comprehensive, physician-led early-detection strategy available. Many members have a family history of cancer, known genetic risk, or simply a desire to take control of their long-term health.
No. Previve works alongside your existing physicians. We focus exclusively on cancer risk assessment, early detection, and informed guidance. You receive a clear summary of findings and recommendations that can be shared with your care team.
Traditional checkups screen for heart disease, metabolic health, and general wellness. Previve focuses specifically on cancer, integrating hereditary genetics, advanced biological testing, and risk-based recommendations for imaging and procedures.
Your testing plan is personalized, but may include:
– Hereditary genetic testing
– Multi-cancer early detection (MCED) blood testing
– Prostate biomarkers (PSA and derivatives)
– Stool DNA testing for colorectal cancer
– Risk-based recommendations for imaging or procedures when appropriate
Previve does not perform imaging or procedures directly but provides recommendations and, in the Concierge tier, coordination, based on your individual risk.
You will meet with your Previve physician to understand what the finding means and what next steps are appropriate. When further evaluation is recommended, Previve supports timely navigation and, in the Concierge tier, coordinates referrals to trusted specialists.
Previve Core members receive risk-based recommendations for imaging and procedures.
Previve Concierge members receive coordination of recommended imaging (MRI, CT, endoscopy when appropriate) and assistance with follow-up steps.
Imaging itself is performed through partner centers and billed separately.
Many tests and follow-up evaluations may be eligible for insurance coverage depending on your plan. Previve does not bill insurance for membership fees. Members are responsible for confirming coverage with their insurer for tests or procedures performed outside Previve.
Yes. Early detection is most effective when practiced over time. Your risk—and the science—evolves, so your testing strategy will be recalibrated annually to reflect the most current evidence.
Previve is expanding nationally. Availability may vary based on state regulations and specialist network coverage. Please submit a request to confirm eligibility in your location.
